Priority is important, and your privacy is our priority. This phrase may be used in all texts like this text but we really mean it. You place your trust in us when you use the Travilia services and we greatly appreciate this trust. This means that we are committed to protecting and safeguarding your personal data. We act in the best interests of our customers and are transparent when it comes to the processing of your personal data.

This document (“This Privacy Statement” or “Our Privacy Statement”) explains how we use and process your Personal Data, and is presented in an easy-to-read and transparent manner. The document also refers to your rights that you can exercise in relation to your personal data and how to communicate with us. Please read our Cookie Statement as well, which refers to how Travilia uses cookies and other similar tracking technologies.

If you have used our site before, you know that Travilia provides services related to online travel, through our websites and mobile applications as well as other online platforms such as partner websites and social media. We would like to point out that all the information you are about to read applies to all of these platforms.

In fact, this Privacy Statement applies to any type of customer information we collect through all of these platforms or in any other way (such as communicating with our customer service team via email).

We may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time, so we recommend that you visit this page every now and then to make sure you keep up with the changes. If we make any updates to this Privacy Statement that would significantly affect you, we will notify you of the changes before any new activities begin.

Pricing Policy:

  • Our products are priced based on hotel and flight prices and all advertised rates are constantly updated.
  • You must review the price before paying with customer service by calling us or sending a message.
  • Travilia takes into account the interests of its customers and does not accept harm and warns that the difference and price changes are beyond its control, but it is the policy of Egyptian hotels, the price changes suddenly without warning.
  • The company has the right to cancel the reservation if the price is changed by the hotel without warning, in which case the amount paid to the customer is refunded in full, less the administrative expenses.

Cancellation policy:

Travilia shall preserve the rights of customers to cancel, but shall establish conditions for them as stipulated by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, and shall be provided that the amount paid upon cancellation shall be deducted as follows:

  • Administrative expenses are deducted if cancellation is made 30 days before the flight, which is 200 EG pounds on the entire reservation and the rest of the amount will be refunded in full to the customer.
  • 25% of the value of the reservation will be deducted if the cancellation is only 20 days before the flight date and the rest of the amount is refunded to the customer.
  • 50% of the value of the reservation will be deducted if it is canceled only 15 days before the flight time and the rest of the amount is refunded to the customer.
  • 75% of the value of the reservation will be deducted if it is canceled only 7 days before the flight and the rest of the amount is refunded to the customer.
  • 100% of the value of the reservation will be deducted if the cancellation is only 3 days before the flight date and the rest of the amount is refunded to the customer.

 

Children's reservation policy:

  • It must be known that the policy for children in hotels varies a lot from one hotel to another, and it must be taken into account when completing the booking process, because you will be charged at the hotel on the basis of the children's policy in the hotel you have chosen.
  • Travilia has no relationship and is not responsible for the ages of the children or any additional amount requested by the hotel from the customer based on the ages of the customer's children
  • Travilia warns of the need to bring children's birth certificates when taking accommodation in the hotel, and that accommodation is not done by others.
  • Please be aware that in some hotels children are accommodated only with father, mother or grandfather and grandmother while the absence of parents.
  • Please note that in some hotels children are accommodated with their father only in the presence of the wife.
  • You should review the children’s policy for each hotel before booking.

The rights of users

You may exercise certain rights regarding your information processed by us. In particular, you have the right to do the following: (i) you have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given your consent to the processing of your information; (ii) you have the right to object to the processing of your information if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent; (iii) you have the right to learn if information is being processed by us, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing and obtain a copy of the information undergoing processing; (iv) you have the right to verify the accuracy of your information and ask for it to be updated or corrected; (v) you have the right, under certain circumstances, to restrict the processing of your information, in which case, we will not process your information for any purpose other than storing it; (vi) you have the right, under certain circumstances, to obtain the erasure of your Personal Information from us; (vii) you have the right to receive your information in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance. This provision is applicable provided that your information is processed by automated means and that the processing is based on your consent, on a contract which you are part of or on pre-contractual obligations thereof.

Privacy of children

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any Personal Information through the Website and Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Website and Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided Personal Information to us through the Website and Services, please contact us. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your Personal Information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as allowed in the information use and processing section or for the purposes of utilizing a third party provider to send such emails. We will maintain the information sent via e-mail in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all e-mails sent from us will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails or by contacting us. However, you will continue to receive essential transactional emails.

The Website and Services contain links to other resources that are not owned or controlled by us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other resources or third parties. In the event we become aware that the security of the Website and Services has been compromised or users Personal Information has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of external activity, including, but not limited to, security attacks or fraud, we reserve the right to take reasonably appropriate measures, including, but not limited to, investigation and reporting, as well as notification to and cooperation with law enforcement authorities. We reserve the right to modify this Policy or its terms relating to the Website and Services from time to time in our discretion and will notify you of any material changes to the way in which we treat Personal Information. When we do, we will post a notification on the main page of the Website. We may also provide notice to you in other ways in our discretion, such as through contact information you have provided. Any updated version of this Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Policy unless otherwise specified.
